World (All) rights to award-winning picture book author Chieri Uegaki’s YA debut, EMIKO, a rom-com loosely inspired by Jane Austen’s Emma, and pitched in the style of Ayesha At Last, in which self-declared “matchmaking genius” Emiko Kimori tries to orchestrate the love lives of everyone around her but ends up falling in love with the last person she expects, and a second, as-yet untitled novel, in a two-book deal to Tara Walker at Tundra Books, by Rachel Letofsky at CookeMcDermid Literary Agency.
